Costs

The Council shall be composed of three officers: the chairperson, the second vice-chairman, and the secretary. The members shall be elected every two years. The term of office of the chairman is two years, and that of the second vice-chairman, one year. Each member shall be an attorney of the Commonwealth holding office within his or her congressional district. To serve on the council, an attorney must be a member of the Virginia Association of Commonwealth’s Attorneys or a former member.
